In partnership with the Government of Malta, CAPAM is pleased to announce the 2010 Biennial Conference, Building a Common Future: Global Challenges, Local Reponses, to be held
October 18-20, 2010 in Malta.

We live in an interconnected world where social, political, economic and ecological changes are not restricted by national borders. In response to these global forces, Public Service reforms are also interconnected. The 2010 CAPAM Biennial Conference will examine the important reasons for collaboration, coordination and sharing to establish best practices of public administration at the local, national, regional, and international levels.

Call for Papers

CAPAM is currently accepting abstracts on the following themes for the conference: 1) Alleviating the Impact of Climate Change and Controlling Pandemics
2) Achieving the Promise - Development and the Public Service
3) Helping Citizens and Business through the Economic Crisis
4) Emerging Innovations in Public Service Reform
5) Developing Leaders for an Interdependent Public Service
6) Cultivating Excellence through Performance Management
7) Electronic Service Delivery: The Changing Relationship between Government and Citizens

Guidelines: Please submit a 600 - 800 word abstract of the proposed paper for consideration by the Conference Papers Committee. The deadline for submission is
