INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON EXCELLENCE IN PUBLIC SERVICE / PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India with support from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have organized the International Symposium on Excellence in Public Service /Public Administration on 7th and 8th of October, 2014 at Hotel Taj Mahal, Man Singh Road, New Delhi. A day's Learning Journey to Taj Mahal, Agra for the participants also organized on 9th October, 2014.
The Symposium has been organized under the auspices of the Government of India and UNDP under the project 'Strengthening Public Administration and Governance'. Expenditure towards International Symposium has borne by UNDP. DARPG is the Implementing Partner.
Participants from around 22 foreign countries have attend the Symposium and made presentation before 150-200 distinguished Invited Audience, who included Senior Officers from Government, representatives from Departments responsible for Public Administration Reforms, representatives from Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs)/Central Training Institutes (CTIs), Prime Minister’s Award Winners for Excellence in Public Administration, National e-Governance Award Winners, officials recognized for Excellence in Public Service, interested representatives of various International Bodies located in Delhi and others.
