2nd Conference

Annual Conference of the Secretaries (Administrative Reforms)on 24.09.2010 at Hall No. 4, Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

The conference aims to create a National Platform to share experiences of the states in the field of reforms/initiatives undertaken by the Department of administrative Reforms in the States to improve public service delivery, make the administration effective, transparent and accountable and to make the administration citizen friendly. This conference will also provide a forum for the Administrative Departments of the various States to highlight the issues being faced by them.

2.The second conference in the series was held on 24.09.2010 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Following the Inaugural session, there was a Panel Discussion on the topic ''Outcome Oriented Civil Service-Way Ahead'' and a presentation on 2nd ARC Report (12th Report - Citizen Centric Administration). After the lunch break the Secretaries (AR) of States/UTs made presentations on administrative reforms in their States and the constraints faced by them.
