4th Conference

Annual Conference of the Secretaries (Administrative Reforms), 16.07.2012, New Delhi

The conference aims to create a National Platform to share experiences of the states in the field of reforms/initiatives undertaken by the Department of administrative Reforms in the States to improve public service delivery, make the administration effective, transparent and accountable and to make the administration citizen friendly. This conference will also provide a forum for the Administrative Departments of the various States to highlight the issues being faced by them.

The fourth conference in the series was held on 16.07.2012 in New Delhi. Following the Inaugural session, there was a Panel Discussion on the topic ''The Role of District Collectors in the Changing Times". The Secretaries (AR) of States/UTs made presentations on administrative reforms in their States and the constraints faced by them.
