A decent increase in average data consumption per day

Villagers of Palnar have not only adopted digital payments, they also started identifying themselves
with the new stature of being the citizen of a cashless enabled village, and are deeply conscious to
live with this newly attained stature. Community leaders and reputed villagers started conducting
“Cashless Kabaddi” “Cashless Cricket” and “Cashless song and dance competitions in and around
the village in which prizes are proudly paid through Cheques and Paytms.

Though the flow of currency has become quite normal now, it did not dented the rate of increase in
cashless transactions in Palnar, in fact the numbers and amount transacted through cashless means is
at steady growth in Palnar and has crossed Rs. 550000/- as on date.

Success Stories
Guddu cycle repairing shop has done approximately Rs. 1, 80, 000/- transactions through cashless
means in 4 half months. The owner of this shop feels that going less cash helped him a lot. He says
that earlier people used to avoid paying me the change but now I readily offer them my PoS when
they say they do not have ready cash with them or that they don’t have change, which resulted in
more income to my shop.
