The much needed and long awaited availability of sufficient water in such villages had been
answered by the implementation of the PMKSY in the district under which a number of community
and individual water tanks had been constructed.

Following are the infrastructures that are boosting irrigation potential –
1. 12 Water reservoir for farmlands at Siaha
2. 75 Individual rain water harvesting tanks at Iana
3. Two Water reservoirs for public use at Lobo
4. Two Water reservoir at Naohtla
5. Water tank – one per farm and one water point at Km 10
6. Two water tanks, Eight dug out ponds, 12 contour bunding at Lopo
7. One water tank and six dug out ponds at Leisail.
8. One water tank and Four dug out ponds at Khaikhy
9. Four water tanks at Chakhei I
10. Three water tanks at Chakhei II
11. Two water tanks Chakheitla
12. Two water tanks at Siasi
15. 19 water tanks and Five fish ponds at Tipa

Impact
1. Prior to the commencement of the scheme in the district, a number of villages had faced acute

scarcity of water for domestic and farming purpose. Inhabitants of such villages covered
