MID TERM ISSUES
Demand for providing of Ambulances have been raised by 91 Panchayats for which rationalization and
actual assessment as per area specific needs will be done and demand shall be projected accordingly to
the Administrative Department through Director Health Services.

Demands for construction of toilets have been raised in 6 Panchayats for which matter shall be referred
to the Rural Development Department to explore the possibility of addressing the same under SBM.

Demands for opening of fair price shops (5) have been raised for which matter shall be taken with the
Administrative Department i.e. Health and Medical Education Department to consider the demand on
priority.

In 22 Panchayats demand with regard to recruitment of ASHA workers have been raised which shall be
projected to the Administrative Department through Director Health Services. Shortage of Para-Medical
Staff and Doctors need due attention of Health and Medical Education Department.

Demands with respect to upgradation and opening of new Health Institutions have been raised in 181
Panchayats, which shall be projected to the Administrative Department through Director Health Services
after exploring the feasibility from the CMO.

38 Health buildings are functioning in the rented accommodation; feasibility/ DPR can be prepared
subject to the availability of suitable land.

An analysis of demands for others sectors viz. Rural development, education revealed the
following scenario

? 24% (56 out of 236) of the panchayats demanded the construction of Foot Bridges.
? 38% (90 out of 236) of the panchayats of the District demanded for construction of tractor road.
? 15% (35 out of 236) of the panchayats demanded for construction of Parks/Play field/Sports

Stadium.
? 16% (38 out of 236) of the panchayats demanded for construction of Community Hall.
? 12% (28 out of 236) of the panchayats demanded for construction of Panchayat Ghar.
? 8% (20 out of 236) of the panchayats demanded for construction of Protection wall/C wall/B

wall/Lane/R wall.
