2 RO generation FPS dealer makes payment at the depot. Once

successful payment is made by the FPS dealer,

the FPS is applicable to receive stocks physically

(after release order is received through SCM).

3 Dispatch of Stock As per the availability of stock in MLS Point the

stock is dispatched in one or more dispatches. SMS is

sent to the dealers and information is immediately

available in e-POS

4 Receiving of stock in ePos On the arrival of physical quantity based on the truck

with physical receive and truck chit number the stock is received physically
and through ePOS with the Route officers’ Biometric

authentication. The stock is added to digital stock

register

5 Issue to Beneficiaries When the beneficiary comes to lift the

commodity his Ration card number is entered into

the system and member and stock details are

fetched from the server.

After success of Biometric or IRIS authentication as

per the entitlement issue is done. Stock register and

beneficiary details are updated
6 Closure of issues on 15th of On 20th of every month Issue of Beneficiary option is

every month closed and hence Closing Balances are freezed.

7 The Closure CB to be used The commodity wise CB is available automatically to

for new allotment department to make new month’s Allotment.

8 Last month CB to be used as The last month Closing balance (i.e. available stock)
OB in POS for next month is used as next month OB in stock register

The stock received from millers and suppliers is stored in buffer godowns and Mandal Level Stock
points. The stock position of a godown is available online. The Movement of stocks from one point to
other can be easily traced. Allotment, release orders and dispatches are all automated which makes the
system more accountable. The main attractive feature of this system is that the weighment system at
godowns is also integrated with the system and no manual entry is allowed. To make the system full
proof the dealer or his nominee gives biometric authentication for the validity of the weighed quantity.
