Application software

NIC, Andhra Pradesh Unit is the technical partner for Civil supplies department. The complete software
is developed in open source JAVA, open source technology with PostgreSQL as DB. The software uses
web services to integrate with other components of TPDS as well with other departments. Application is
security audited and in compliance with Aadhaar. Aadhaar User Agency and Aadhaar Service Agency
are as per UIDAI Auth 2.0 guidelines and data travels in secured and encrypted format. SLAs are
documented by the department and accordingly followed.

Extent of coverage

The software is rolled out in the entire state covering 13 districts, 671 blocks covered with 268 MLS
points, 121 Godowns, about 29800 fair price shops, 3621 (SC/ST/BC etc) welfare hostels, 55416 ICDS
Anganwadi centres, MDM for 44068 Schools.100% population targeted under NFSA, as all NFSA
schemes are covered in the Supply Chain management
