authentication of the dealer.

All the beneficiaries under National Food security act ICDS Mid-day meal and Welfare hostel
requirements are met by supply chain management system. The status and quality of the commodities at
each level can be tracked online. SMS alerts are given at each stage. The dealers and the beneficiaries
are intimated by SMS when the stock reaches the fair price shop.

Integrating the vehicle tracking system with supply chain management of TPDS has resulted in
restriction of diversions. All vehicles are GPS enabled and all Godowns are geo-fenced to track the
movement. Any diversion of path is alerted by SMS to the authorities to take necessary action.

Portability across the state i.e. anywhere ration facility to draw from any fair price shop makes supply
chain management a demand driven process where in as per the requirement portability stock is
provided to the fair price shop.
