The program has been able to save up to Rs.141.84 Crores worth subsidy of food grains per
month which is a real achievement

More than 1.3 Crore beneficiaries at every nook and corner of the state, receive their food rations
in time without causing any delays. Real beneficiaries are able to draw their own benefits with
their Aadhaar authentication, where earlier it was denied or non-availability was shown. As
transparency is available, they can see and demand and put their grievances.

As SCM is completely online, data analytic reports help department in decision making and
improve the system. No mischief can be done as no manual intervention is allowed.
Implementation of the scheme is made easier at each step by online system so all stakeholders

Citizen Centricity
The online system with transparency has made the work easier and lot of time is saved as decision
making analytical reports is available online. Application is developed by NIC without any cost. Cost
incurred for GPS and ePOS devices are already returned in the form of huge savings. 24X7 help desk is
provided and online grievance redressal mechanism is provided. All audit trails are maintained. The
transparency is maintained through online portal, mobile app and message dissemination is done through
SMS.

Supply chain module of Andhra Pradesh has set an example of best use of technology which makes the
government of India project successful and makes the benefit reach the poorest of poor.
